Dan Martinez has broken onto the film-scoring scene as a fresh new voice to be heard. His compositions have been featured internationally, on television, and in feature films. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2009 to persue film scoring, Dan has brought a professional musical voice to a number of feature films, short films, and web series. He has also had his pieces on television networks such as MTV, CBS, and NBC. Working as a studio assistant for esteemed composers Jeff Rona and Bill Brown, he has enjoyed the hands on experience of being involved in such projects as CSI:NY, Persons Unknown, and Apple's iMovie software. Most recently, he had completed a co-composed score for the Gary Sinise Foundation entitled "High Flight", and wrote the original end credits music for the award winning film "Resolution". His orchestral piece "Crescent Heights" was premiered in 2013 by CCM's Philharmonia Orchestra.

Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. There he studied a variety of music styles and production techniques. He is trained in composition, orchestration, conducting, performance, and sound engineering. His early career as a jazz pianist led him to performances in Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean. He has been featured performing with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, the Kentucky Symphony, and with renowned singers Mandy Gaines and Nina Ferro. He also attended the Aspen Music Festival Film Scoring program in 2009, having the opportunity to study with Jeff Rona, Jack Smalley, and Marco Beltrami.
